DROID Added To FAMILY VALUES Tour

Long Beach, California-based metal/hardcore act DROID is the tenth and final band to be added to the Family Values Tour 2006, according to a posting on the group's MySpace page.

On Monday (July 17),while appearing live on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline", KORN guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer mentioned has was trying to get his "good friends" DROID to join the bill.

According to DROID's official MySpace page, the band will be joining 10 YEARS, DEADSY, BULLETS AND OCTANE and BURY YOUR DEAD on the tour's second stage.

DROID had previously toured the U.S. with KORN and LIMP BIZKIT as part of the Back 2 Basics trek.

The KORN-headlined Family Values tour is scheduled to begin on July 27 in Virginia Beach. Other bands appearing on the tour's main stage are DEFTONES, STONE SOUR and FLYLEAF.
